Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Note Dance Studio ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Little Concert: Band Beats (the "App"), and describes the security practices we apply to that data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account identifiers: a user ID (username) for every player. If you register with email and password, we also collect and store your email address.
• Profile information you provide: nickname, selected or uploaded avatar image (including a profile picture pulled from your platform's sign-in service, such as Game Center or Google Play Games, when you sign in that way), and, if you choose to add them, social media handles (e.g. Facebook, Twitter/X, WeChat).
• Gameplay data: song play history, scores, stars, note-hit detail, unlocked/owned songs, instrument collection ("garage"), in-game currency and energy balances, player level/XP, and content preferences (genre, language, year).
• Purchase records: when you make an in-app purchase, we verify the purchase with the app store you purchased through (e.g. Apple App Store, Google Play, or another supported app store) and keep a ledger entry (transaction reference, item, amount) used to grant and audit the reward. We do not receive or store your card, bank, or other payment account details — those are handled entirely by the app store.
• Rewarded-ad activity: when you watch a rewarded ad, our ad-mediation partner (IronSource/LevelPlay, which may serve ads from networks such as AdMob or Meta Audience Network) notifies us of the ad event and the reward granted, tied to your user ID.
• Device and app identifiers: a device identifier and platform (Android/iOS/web) tied to your push-notification token, plus device model and app version sent at login.
• Diagnostics: crash logs, stack traces, phone model, and OS version when the App encounters an error, used solely for debugging.
• App activity: in-app interactions (taps/plays), in-app song search queries, other user-generated content (e.g. nicknames, favorites), and other in-app actions (e.g. reward claims), used to operate and improve the App.
• App info and performance: crash logs, diagnostics, and other performance data as described above.

We do not collect financial account numbers, health/fitness data, contacts, calendar, precise location, messages, photos/videos beyond an optional profile picture, or browsing history from outside the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Create and authenticate your account, and keep your game progress and preferences in sync
• Operate core gameplay features: songs, scoring, instrument collection, currency and rewards
• Verify and fulfill in-app purchases and rewarded-ad rewards, and prevent fraudulent claims
• Send push notifications (e.g. new song releases) via Firebase Cloud Messaging
• Diagnose crashes and performance issues to keep the App stable
• Analyze aggregate app activity (e.g. play counts, search terms) to improve the App
• Respond to support requests

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising profiles beyond the rewarded-ad mediation described above.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account and gameplay data are stored on Google Cloud (Firestore), with local caching on your device for offline play. All data in transit between the App and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and data at rest is encrypted by our cloud provider's platform-level encryption. Account passwords are never stored in plain text. Access to production data is restricted to authorized service accounts and engineers.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, which may process data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Google Cloud Platform / Firebase — hosting, database, authentication support, and push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
• App store billing (e.g. Apple App Store, Google Play, or another supported app store) — processing in-app purchases and purchase verification
• Firebase Crashlytics — crash and diagnostic reporting
• ironSource / LevelPlay ad mediation (and the ad networks it mediates, such as AdMob or Meta Audience Network) — serving rewarded ads and reporting completions so we can grant in-game rewards

6. Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for users aged 4 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately.

7. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Opt out of push notifications via your device settings

The App does not currently have an in-app "delete my account" button. To request deletion, contact us at the email below with your in-app username; we will delete your account data manually within a reasonable time, except where we must retain records to comply with law, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes.

8. Data Retention

We retain your account profile and gameplay progress for as long as your account is active. Raw event logs used for debugging and analytics (e.g. login/session events, currency ledger entries) are automatically deleted after 180 days; aggregated, non-identifying statistics may be kept longer.

9. International Data Transfers

Our servers are hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Depending on the service, your data may be processed in the United States or other countries where our cloud provider operates. We rely on our provider's standard safeguards for any such transfers.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or via email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
